(MELVILLE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick), ranking member of the Legislature’s Public Safety committee, attended the Long Island Association’s “Public Safety and our Economy” presentation in Melville on Wednesday, April 2. During the event, Long Island Association President and CEO Matt Cohen and VP of Government Affairs and Communications Stacey Sikes co-moderated a panel with Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder and newly appointed Suffolk County Police Commissioner Kevin Catalina.
“Safe and strong communities are beacons for investments from entrepreneurs of all sizes, and it is imperative for elected officials at all levels of government to remain keenly focused on delivering responsive, respectful and effective community policing,” Legislator Koslow said. “I appreciate the Long Island Association for bringing these seasoned law enforcement leaders together to share their insights on how we can create new catalysts for economic growth.”
