(FREEPORT and NORTH MERRICK, N.Y.) –Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) is joining forces with the Freeport-Merrick Rotary Club to host his office’s inaugural winter coat drive.
Donors are invited to drop off new and gently used winter coats and winter accessories (gloves, hats, scarves, etc.) at CYBS Accountants & Tax Specialists LLC, 294 W. Merrick Road, Suite 12, Freeport, N.Y. 11520 and the North Merrick Public Library, 1691 Meadowbrook Road, North Merrick, N.Y. 11566 during normal business hours through Sunday, Dec. 22.
“A new winter coat provides much more than warmth to its recipient – it is a powerful statement that shows our community cares for their neighbors in their hour of need, and it a symbol of hope for better days in the new year,” Legislator Koslow said. “I am excited to be working with our partners at the Freeport-Merrick Rotary Club on this important philanthropic effort and thank CYBS Accountants & Tax Specialists and the North Merrick Public Library for agreeing to serve as drop-off locations in our community.”
