FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) honored Freeport High School’s championship-winning Varsity Kickline team on Friday, June 7.
During a visit to Freeport High School, he presented the athletes with Nassau County Legislatirue Citations in recognition of their three first-place Hip-Hop finishes and three second-place Pom finishes this season.
“As little league coach myself, I know the important role sports play in fostering discipline and empowering athletes to express their identities,” Legislator Koslow said. “Through their dedication, hard work and talent, this squad has written another chapter in Freeport Kickline’s illustrious history book, and that is something they should all take great pride in.”
