(MERRICK and FREEPORT, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) partnered with Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital to provide dozens of Fifth District residents with free flu shots during walk-up mobile clinics at the Merrick Library on Friday, Oct. 11 and at the Freeport Memorial Library on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
“With flu season fast approaching, getting vaccinated is an important way that Nassau County residents can protect themselves and their loved ones from serious illness,” Legislator Koslow said. “This partnership with Northwell made it possible to provide these services at no charge, and I appreciate the Merrick and Freeport Libraries for working with us to host these successful clinics in our community.”
