(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined his colleagues in government from both Nassau and Suffolk County at the Mid Island Y JCC on Thursday, Nov. 21 for the biannual meeting of the American Jewish Committee of Long Island’s (AJC-LI) Municipal Leaders Against Antisemitism initiative. There, a group of more than 40 leaders, including Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) and Alternate Deputy Minority Leader and State Senator-elect Siela A. “The substantial and bipartisan support for AJC-LI’s initiative shows how Nassau County and Long Island are united in our focus on fighting antisemitism and hatred in all forms,” Legislator Koslow said. “I applaud AJC-LI for facilitating this opportunity to discuss strategies, share insights, and reaffirm our commitment to fostering inclusivity and I thank the Nassau and Suffolk County Police Departments for leading this session and being steadfast partners in our work to build stronger communities.”
