(WANTAGH, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislators Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) attended the Nassau County Detectives Association picnic at Wantagh Park on Thursday, June 13.
“It was wonderful to kick off the summer with a celebration of the men and women who do so much to help keep Nassau County the safest municipality of its size in America,” Legislator Mulé said. “We congratulate President William Bourguignon and all of the members of the DAI for their commitment to serving and protecting the people of Nassau County.”
“In my former role as an assistant district attorney, I saw firsthand how important our detectives are to solving crimes and preserving public safety,” Legislator Koslow said. “I am deeply grateful for the courageous and diligent work of Nassau County’s detectives – especially as they continue to contend with an ongoing detective shortage - and it was a pleasure to join President William Bourguignon and his outstanding colleagues for this well-deserved celebration.”
