(EAST MEADOW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) proudly attended the Mount Siani South Nassau Soirée Under the Stars at the Lennin in Eisenhower Park on Saturday, Nov. 9. The gala raised funds to help advance the cancer programs at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside as part of its ongoing healthcare mission for residents of the South Shore.
Linda Armyn, Bethpage Federal Credit Union’s President and Chief Executive Officer, was named this year’s corporate honoree. Shahriyour Andaz, MD, Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Director of Thoracic Oncology and leader of the hospital’s efforts to combat lung cancer, and Shaeda Alloo, a veteran respiratory therapist at Mount Sinai South Nassau who served during the COVID-19 pandemic, were respectively presented with the hospital’s Mary Pearson and Cupola awards.
“It was a pleasure to be a part of an event that bolsters Mount Sinai South Nassau’s vital work in our community, and I wish them continued success in delivering services that improve health and wellness across Nassau County,” Legislator Mulé said. “Congratulations to all of the evening’s honorees for their tremendous contributions and well-deserved recognition!”
