(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) supported Sparkle on Stage’s Mardi Gras fundraiser on Sunday Feb. 11. Complete with live music, auctions and “funny money” blackjack amongst its activities, the event raised funds in support of the not-for-profit organization’s mission to enrich, empower, and entertain our community by providing a home for the cultural arts and create new opportunities for artistic endeavors in and around Freeport.
“Sparkle on Stage does so much to create a platform for the arts that everyone can access and enjoy, and their efforts are especially important to cultivating a lifelong love of the art in our youth,” Legislator Koslow said. “It was a pleasure to be a part of a wonderful event for a truly great cause.”
