(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Seth I. Koslow (D – Freeport) joined congregants at Freeport’s Refuge Apostolic Church of Christ on Friday, June 14 to celebrate Founder’s Day. The occasion was a celebration of the legacy of Apostle Ronald Howard Carter and paying tribute to his leadership, unwavering faith, and dedication to empowering their faith community from its inception.
“For so many Nassau County residents, their local faith communities are cornerstones of their lives that provide them with comfort, support and inspiration,” Legislator Koslow said. “I truly enjoyed my visit to Refuge Apostolic Church and congratulate Pastor Dr. Phyllis Carter and the entire congregation for reaching this important milestone.”
