(MERRICK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation to Nick Paraskevopoulos (pictured above) and Ted Mastakouris, owners of Merrick’s Bagel Chalet, on Thursday, Dec. 12. They were recognized for their donation of bagels and coffee for Legislator Koslow’s Veterans Job and Resource Fair, which was held on Monday, Nov. 4. “The generosity demonstrated by businesses like Bagel Chalet played a significant role in making our Veterans Job and Resource Fair a success, and their contributions helped to create a welcoming atmosphere all throughout the event,” Legislator Koslow said. “Thank you to Nick and Ted for supporting our veterans and community!”
