WHAT: Nassau County Legislators Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) are partnering with Glory House Recovery Inc., Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Kohl’s Cares to host a “Trunk or Treat” Halloween celebration at the Baldwin LIRR station on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Participating residents are invited to pre-register their vehicles and prepare their decorated Halloween vehicles at the Baldwin train station parking lot where they will give out candy and other goodies such as toys, pencils and stickers to trick-or-treaters. Families are invited to join in the fun, and adults and children alike are encouraged to wear costumes for these festivities in this safe, supervised, and welcoming environment.
Food items must be individually wrapped and sealed by the manufacturer; fruit and loose foods/candies, such as loose jellybeans and candy corn, are not permitted; candies that can be unwrapped and rewrapped are not permitted either. Please only bring allergy-friendly snacks that do not contain peanuts or tree nuts.
Participating “trunks” must pre-register their vehicles at www.nassaucountyny.gov/LD5. For additional questions or to donate bags of candy or other treats, contact Legislator Koslow’s office at 516-571-6205.
