(BETHPAGE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined supporters from across Long Island outside Bethpage Federal Credit Union in Bethpage on Sunday, Jan. 6 to back “Operation ReSupply” – a donation drive in support of first responders and military personnel who have been impacted by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
“In recent weeks, we have all watched the horrific scenes unfolding in California and felt tremendous compassion for everyone who has been impacted by the devastation. Operation ReSupply empowers us to turn our compassion into action,” Legislator Koslow said. “Together, we can make a difference for those who do so much to selflessly serve their communities in the face of tremendous adversity, and I thank the organizers for stepping up in this moment.”
Individuals who want to support Operation ReSupply can do so at one more drop-off event, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2. Organizers recommend donations of adult and children’s clothing, diapers, baby formula, toys, medicine, portable phone chargers, sunscreen, travel-sized hand sanitizer, lip balm, tissue packs, energy drinks and hand warmers.
