(MINEOLA and MERRICK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) welcomed members of Merrick’s local Brownies troop to the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building on Friday, Jan. 31. During their visit, Legislator Koslow discussed the functions of local government and received an update from this group of emerging young leaders on their various community service activities. “For so many local girls, becoming a Brownie and remaining involved with the Girl Scouts is an important part of growing that teaches them skills and values that serve them well for a lifetime,” Legislator Koslow said. “It was an honor to spend some time with my community’s local Brownie troop and I thank Den Mother Michelle Lazo for organizing this visit with my office!”
