(MERRICK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined with Progressive American Community Empowerment (PACE) at the organization’s fifth annual Independence Day celebration at the Merrick Golf Course on Thursday, July 4. During the event, leaders of the Bellmore-based Pakistani-American community organization discussed what it means to be an American and the significance of the Fourth of July as they shared food and cultural activities with more than 200 guests.
“Every moment of this event was filled with joy, laughter, and camaraderie, and it gave all of us in attendance an enlightening and inspiring perspective on America’s importance as a beacon of liberty in the world,” Legislator Koslow said. “It was a privilege to be with PACE as we celebrated the freedom and opportunities we all enjoy as Americans.”
