(GREENVALE and MERRICK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) celebrated a proud parent milestone when he watched his son Sam perform as part of the Fifth Grade All-County Band during the Nassau Music Educators Association’s All-County Music Festival. Held at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at LIU Post on Sunday, Jan. 12, the performance is part of the Nassau Music Educators Association’s mission of enriching school music programs, nurturing student musicianship, and empowering members through collaboration and professional development.
“My family and I could not be prouder of Sam and all of the hard work that he and his fellow bandmates put into this weekend’s performance,” Legislator Koslow said. “The result was an incredible event showcasing the talents of young musicians in band, chorus, and orchestra – and I am thankful to the Nassau Music Educators Association for their commitment to nurturing the arts in our schools!”
