(MERRICK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) was the guest reader in Ms. Allison’s fifth-grade class at the Birch School for the Merrick Union Free School District’s Community Read Aloud Day on Friday, March 28. “It’s so important to teach our children from a young age to love and embrace reading, and events like the Birch School PTA’s Community Read Aloud Day do so much to achieve that goal,” Legislator Koslow said. “It is always great to spend time with Birch School students and support this wonderful tradition!”
