(WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined the New York League of Conservation Voters, Citizens Campaign for the environment and Climate Jobs NY at West Hempstead’s Somerset Brewery on Tuesday, Nov. 12 for a “What’s Brewin’ Offshore” happy hour hosted by Vineyard Offshore. “Strong and authentic community engagement is critical for advancing clean energy in our region, and the feedback that is gathered at events like these can help to proactively address concerns and build consensus for projects that deliver sustainable power and high-paying careers to Nassau residents,” Legislator Koslow said. “It was an insightful evening, and I thank Vineyard Offshore for bringing us together to discuss the future of wind energy and its impact on our community.”
