(FREEPORT, N.Y.) - The following is a statement from Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) -
"I was appalled by the antisemitic fliers that Freeport Village residents discovered outside their homes over the weekend – fliers that were filled with vitriol, bigotry, and dangerous lies,” Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) said. “Following this incident, I had a lengthy conversation with NCPD Commissioner Patrick Ryder, and he reassured me that he is working closely with his counterparts at Freeport PD to ensure that all who live, work and worship in Nassau County can do so safely and with peace of mind.
“As a member of Nassau’s Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, I am committed to doing everything I can to prevent hatred from festering in Freeport or anywhere else in our county. Now more than ever, we must remain vigilant, united, and committed to confronting bigotry wherever it may lurk in society.”
