Legislator Mulé Partners with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County to Host “Composting with Cornell” in BaldwinWHAT: Learn how to reduce household waste and enrich your soil naturally during “Composting with Cornell,” an upcoming event at the Baldwin Community Garden hosted by Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County.
During this free workshop, Cornell Cooperative experts will teach attendees the basics about backyard composting, a process which converts leftover food scraps, unwaxed paper goods, coffee grinds, and much more into compost that can be used to enrich garden soil with valuable nutrients.
