(MINEOLA, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined County Executive Curran on Friday, March 12 to light the dome of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building blue in recognition of Social Workers Month. “As a social worker by trade, I have first-hand knowledge and deep appreciation for the remarkable – and often unheralded – efforts by social workers to aid families and individuals in need,” Legislator Mulé said. “I thank County Executive Curran for recognizing these compassionate professionals by proclaiming March as Social Workers Month in Nassau County.”
