Legislator Debra Mulé Supports Sani 2 Disposal Event
(BALDWIN, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) visited Sanitary District No. 2’s Grand Avenue garage and office in Baldwin on Saturday, Oct. 5 for their one-stop Operation Shed-The-Meds, document shredding and E-cycling drop-off day.
Legislator Mulé joined community organizations and her partners in government as a co-sponsor of the event, which gave Baldwin, South Hempstead and Roosevelt residents in Sani 2’s service area an opportunity to securely dispose of unwanted prescription medication, electronic waste, and documents containing sensitive personal data.
“I’m always proud to support events that give our residents an environmentally-friendly opportunity to prevent identity theft, discard their expired and unwanted prescription drugs, and properly dispose of electronic waste,” Legislator Mulé said. “Thank you to everyone at Sani 2 for working hard all year long to keep our community clean!”
