WHAT: Equip yourself with the knowledge that may one day empower you to save a person’s life. Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport), in partnership with the Nassau County Department of Human Services, is scheduled to host a virtual Narcan training on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
In addition to learning how to spot the signs of an opiate overdose, participants will also be shown how to administer intranasal Naloxone to reverse it and learn about new approaches to treating addiction. Narcan kits will be available for contactless pick up to all trainees containing the overdose antidote.
