(BALDWIN, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) joined the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and her partners in state and town government on Friday, Feb. 12 to celebrate the grand re-opening of Baldwin’s 3 D’s Aftercare at a new, larger location at 881 Merrick Road.
Legislator Mulé (pictured above, third from left) presented founder Dr. Zodelia Williams with a Nassau County Citation in recognition of the facility’s grand re-opening. Dr. Williams, known affectionately by locals as Dr. Zoe, is a respected Baldwin community leader who was recognized in February 2020 by the Nassau County Legislature during its annual Black History Month presentation.
“Dr. Zoe’s dedication to serving and uplifting our youth has greatly enriched the Baldwin community and opened doors for countless Nassau County families,” Legislator Mule said. “I am delighted to celebrate the expansion of 3 D’s Aftercare, thank her for her ongoing leadership, and wish her all the best as she embarks upon this next chapter of her journey.”
