(FREEPORT, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) partners with Long Island Cares to sponsor an essential supply drive in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to support local families who are in need of vital goods.
“During these trying times, it is important to remember those in need. I am working with Long Island Cares to support their relief efforts in response to the impact COVID-19 is having on our fellow Long Islanders,” said Legislator Mulé.
This virtual supply drive allows residents to shop from their homes and purchase essential supplies such as food, water, soap, pampers, and so much more for a local family deeply affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Long Island Cares provides a variety of vital services to assist individuals challenged by hunger, homelessness and poverty through awareness, actions and generosity.
