Legislator Laura Curran with the Nassau County Police Department will be holding three seminars focusing on education about the Opiate/Heroin Epidemic
(Rockville Centre, Oceanside, Merrick, NY) – County Legislator Laura Curran is hosting three community seminars in partnership with the Nassau County Police Department. A presenter from NCPD’s Community Affairs will provide valuable information and tools to empower members of the community to help combat the Heroin Epidemic, and to help keep our communities and homes safe.
“Knowledge is a powerful weapon in the fight against heroin. Please arm yourself with the facts, and the strategies to stop the soul-crushing, heart-breaking damage to our families wrought by opioid abuse,” said Legislator Laura Curran. “I encourage everyone to attend one of these important seminars.”
All seminars are from 7- 9 PM. The dates and locations are:
