Nassau County Legislator Laura Curran (D-Baldwin) is will be hosting 4 seminars about the process of property valuation and how to file an appeal of the assessed value of your property if you disagree with your most recent assessment. The expert-led workshop on how to file a grievance of your tax assessment with the Assessment Review Commission will be a two-hour session providing guidance and a comprehensive step-by-step overview of the grievance process, and includes a Q & A session following the presentation.
(This year’s filing period is January 4- March 1, 2016.)
