(Baldwin, NY) – Legislator Laura Curran and the Nassau County Department of Public Works are co-hosting the second public information meeting on the Grand Avenue Complete Streets Traffic Study in Baldwin. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the cafeteria of the Baldwin Senior High School, 841 Ethel T. Kloberg Drive, Baldwin.
The objective of the study is to identify feasible measures that will provide a safer environment for all users and improve circulation of an approximately 1.4 mile long stretch of Grand Avenue. The meeting will begin with an open house-style preview of study recommendations and related exhibits, followed by a presentation by the NCDPW project team. The meeting will conclude with a public input and comment session. Attendees will also have the opportunity throughout the evening to view displays depicting study data and information.
