Legislator Laura Curran, in partnership with the New York Blood Center, will be sponsoring a blood drive on August 27th at the Baldwin Public Library. Donors receive a free pair of Mets tickets.
(Baldwin, NY) – Legislator Laura Curran is sponsoring a community blood drive with the New York Blood Center on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 2:30 - 6:30 PM, at the Baldwin Public Library in the Community Room, located at 2385 Grand Ave., Baldwin, NY 11510. Every donor will receive one pair of Mets tickets, mailed to them after the drive, free!! Each donation will help save up to three lives.
Donor requirements are:
- Bring valid ID- Age requirements: 16 * to 76th birthday (16 year olds must have parental consent)
- A minimum weight of 110 lbs.- Should eat well and drink fluids before donating
- No tattoos or body piercings for the past 12 months
