(Baldwin, NY) – Legislator Laura Curran is sponsoring a community blood drive with the New York Blood Center on Tuesday, January 20th from 2:00 – 6:30 PM, at the Baldwin Public Library, located at 2385 Grand Ave., Baldwin, NY 11510. Every donor will receive one pair of Mets tickets, mailed to them after the drive, free!! Each donation will help save up to three lives. The winter months are historically low supply months and community hospitals need our help.
Donor requirements are:
- Bring valid ID
- Age requirements: 16 * to 76th birthday (16 year olds must have parental consent)
- A minimum weight of 110 lbs.
- Should eat well and drink fluids before donating
- No tattoos or body piercings for the past 12 months
