WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) is partnering with Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital to provide free flu shots at the Merrick Library from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 and at the Freeport Memorial Library from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15. No appointment is required for either of the mobile clinics.
“Flu shots are an important tool for staying healthy and protecting our families during the upcoming fall and winter months,” Legislator Koslow said. “I’m happy to be working with Northwell Health and the Freeport and Merrick Libraries and doing our part to ensure every community member who wants this vaccine can conveniently receive it at no charge to them.”
