(FREEPORT and NORTH MERRICK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) commemorated Memorial Day across the Fifth Legislative District by marching in the Freeport Memorial Day parade and speaking at the Merrick American Legion Post 1282 ceremony on Monday, May 27.
“The enthusiastic embrace of these meaningful Memorial Day observances serves as a vivid demonstration of the civic pride that is found in our communities and the appreciation we all hold for the men and women who served our country so valiantly,” Legislator Koslow said. “It is only through the sacrifice and dedication of our service members that we can maintain our freedoms and our flourishing communities, and it was an honor to commemorate the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.”
