Deputy Minority Leader Drucker, Legislator Koslow Honor Nassau County’s 34 Newest Corrections Office

Drucker and Koslow - Corrections graduation

(UNIONDALE, N.Y) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) and Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined leaders in law enforcement and their government colleagues at the David S. Mack Center for Training and Intelligence on Monday, Dec. 16 to celebrate the graduation of the 34-member Correction Officer Recruit Class No. 113

“Now that they have completed their rigorous course of training, these outstanding men and women are now embarking upon careers that will contribute tremendously toward the preservation of Nassau County’s standing as the safest county of its size in America,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “I congratulate our newest Correctional Officers on achieving this milestone and wish them tremendous success and safety as they fulfill their duties.”

“As law enforcement professionals, our corrections officers do so much to keep us safe, but they do not always get the accolades they deserve because, by their nature, they are working behind the scenes,” Legislator Koslow said. “That always makes it especially meaningful to attend their graduation ceremony and have the opportunity to express our gratitude in person. I congratulate all of our newest officers and have every expectation they will discharge their duties with great honor, integrity, and the highest standards of professionalism.”
