(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) – Today, Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) issued the following statement:
“As we continue to witness the safe return of Israeli hostages that have been held by Hamas terrorists since the October 6 massacre, I am filled with many feelings about the current state of the crisis,” Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) said.
“I am relieved for the hostages and their families – all of whom have endured an unthinkable ordeal for the last 15 months. I am tremendously concerned for everyone that is still experiencing the horrors of captivity,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker continued. “I am heartbroken and infuriated that Plainview native Omer Neutra’s body has still not been returned – an atrocity that continues to rob his family and loved ones of the ability to fully grieve his senseless murder.”
“Let us remain unwavering in our unified demand for the safe and immediate return of every hostage, and fervent in our prayers that this current cessation of hostilities will place Israel and the world on a path to lasting peace and security,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker concluded.
