(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined with his colleagues in government and the Plainview-Old Bethpage Board of Education on Saturday, Dec. 14 for the District’s annual legislative breakfast at the Howard B. Mattlin Middle School Library. School board members and elected officials from the town, county and state levels discussed opportunities for addressing district needs through collaborative partnerships; key legislative priorities in education; and other pressing issues facing public education.
“As a lifelong Plainview resident and a graduate of this district, it has always been tremendously inspiring to witness our community’s dedication to excellence in public education,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “This annual gathering demonstrates our collective commitment to the success of our students, and I am thankful to the Plainview-Old Bethpage Board of Education for hosting this productive forum and for all they do to ensure our students continue to thrive in the classroom.”
