SYOSSET, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) and hundreds of locals packed Jackson Avenue near the train station on Sunday, Sept. 29 for the Syosset Chamber of Commerce’s 20th anniversary Syosset Street Fair – an event Deputy Minority Leader Drucker proudly supported the milestone 2024 installment of this event as a Bronze Sponsor.
Deputy Minority Leader Drucker and his staff were on hand to greet community members through the daylong event, which was filled with family-friendly activities, food, more than 200 vendors, live music and more. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Children's Orchestra Society and the Tempo Group.
“I was glad to see that a little bit of rain was no match for Syosset’s jubilant community spirit, and it is always wonderful to see so many people supporting an event that heralds the arrival of autumn and elevates our local business owners,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “I thank everyone at the Syosset Chamber of Commerce for their tireless efforts to support local businesses and applaud them for making the 20th anniversary Syosset Street Fair such a tremendous success.”
