[ARCHIVED] Legislator Arnold Drucker and the Safe Center LI Sponsors Supply Drive for Domestic Violence

(MINEOLA, N.Y.) –To help support families in need and raise awareness during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Nassau County Legislator Arnold Drucker (D – Plainview) is partnering with the Safe Center LI to sponsor a supply drive during the month of October.

On weekdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., donors can drop off new clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, paper goods, baby care items, new bed linens, and gift cards from at The Safe Center LI, 15 Grumman Rd W Suite 1000, Bethpage, N.Y. 11714. Residents seeking personal assistance should contact the Safe Center LI  24-hour hotline phone number at 516.542.0404.

In addition, residents are invited to bring donations to Legislator Drucker’s upcoming community events, including: 

  • Friday, Oct. 18 - Senior Scam Presentation w/ Nassau County PD
  • Jamaica Ave School, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
