[ARCHIVED] Drucker Partners with Nassau PD to Offer Free Car Seat Safety Checks at Syosset Public Library

WHAT: Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) is partnering with the Nassau County Police Department’s Office of Community Affairs and Nassau County’s Department of Traffic Safety to provide free Child Car Seat Safety Checks at the Syosset Public Library from 9 a.m. – noon on Wednesday, May 29. Certified technicians will apply their expertise toward ensuring that car seats are properly installed and providing optimal protection. Residents with children who use car seats or booster seats are encouraged to have their car seats professionally checked.

“Time spent with my grandchildren is one of the most precious gifts in my life, and I want to make sure that I am doing everything I can to keep them as safe and comfortable as possible,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “If you regularly have the privilege of transporting a youngster who uses a car seat, I encourage you to make an appointment and ensure that it is installed properly for maximum safety.”
