If you are a homeowner who disagrees with the new tentative property tax assessment on your residence you may dispute the assessed value between January 2, 2017 and March 1, 2017.
You do not have to pay a law firm to file a grievance. Nassau County Legislator C. William Gaylor III invites you to attend a workshop to help you file a property tax assessment grievance application. At the workshops, a representative from the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission will show residents how to use Assessment Review’s online tools to file a challenge online or via mail. Please try to attend one of these informative workshops:
wednesday, feb. 1, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
