WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) is partnering with the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) to present “Becoming a First-Time Homebuyer” – a free seminar set for 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Baldwin Public Library on Thursday April 4. During the event, prospective homebuyers will hear from experts about credit counseling, building a home-buying team, economical mortgages, down-payment resources, and other core components of the home-buying process.
“Accessing the American Dream of home ownership can seem daunting– especially on Long Island where real estate prices are so high,” Legislator Mulé said. “That is why I am proud to partner with LIBOR on an event that will help walk first-time buyers through this process, and I encourage anyone with questions and aspirations to join us and take advantage of these essential resources.”
Attendees are encouraged to contact Legislator Mulé’s office at 516-571-6206 or dmule@nassaucountyny.gov with questions and/or to RSVP.
