(OCEANSIDE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined with the leaders of the Oceanside Fire Department and her colleagues in government on Sunday, Feb. 4 for the Oceanside Fire Department’s installation dinner at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
During the event, Legislator Mulé honored outgoing Chief Charles Daskalakis and incoming Chief Michael Gress, and ex-Chief Craig Debaun. She also joined in the celebration of an amazing milestone in Honorary Chief Robert Moyer’s 75th anniversary of service with the Department.
“Nassau County’s volunteer firefighters are the embodiment of courage, selfless service and dedication,” Legislator Mulé said. “It was an honor to join with the Oceanside Fire Department for this annual tradition and join in the celebration of the brave men and women who step up without hesitation to keep us safe on a daily basis.”
