Nassau County Legislator Bill Gaylor delivered boxes of at-home COVID tests to the Malverne Office of Emergency Management (OEM) headquarters on Hempstead Avenue in Malverne this past Tuesday. The individual test boxes contain two tests per box.
"COVID-19 affected our first responders and essential employees in devastating ways,” Legislator Bill Gaylor said. “The members of the Malverne OEM deal with emergencies on a daily basis and are not able to work from home. Mambers of Malverne DPW still had to maintain the level of service that was necessary to the commnuty, despite the pandemic. These men and women are essential employees, and during the pandemic, they put their own health on the line. These tests will help our essential employees stay healthy and maintain their level of service to the community.”
