WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) invites music lovers to join her at Silver Lake Park on Thursday, June 13 to launch 2024’s “Music in the Park,” which is sponsored by Ridgewood Savings Bank and presented in partnership with the Baldwin Civic Association and Baldwin Historical Society.
This second annual concert series features performances by Matthew Ponsot, James O’Malley, Bob Wescott and Stephen Robinson. A future performance set for July 11 features The Toby Tobias Ensemble.
“Generations of Baldwin residents have enjoyed the beauty of Silver Lake Park in so many ways, and I am glad to see that this new tradition of live summer concerts continues to grow in popularity,” Legislator Mulé said. “I am so thankful to our partners at the Baldwin Civic Association, the Baldwin Historical Society and Ridgewood Savings Bank for supporting this initiative and embracing this exciting new tradition in our community.”
All shows are from 7 - 9 p.m., and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
