Nassau County Legislator Bill Gaylor and the Nassau County Police Department invite all parents, grandparents and caregivers to have their child car seats inspected for proper installation. Representatives from the Nassau County Traffic Safety Department will be on hand to inspect child car seats for proper installation and security.
We must do all we can to protect our children when on the road. The proper installation of a child’s car seat is critical to ensuring safety in a vehicle. Take this free opportunity to let a professional make sure your child seat is safely installed in your vehicle. To ensure proper inspection and installation, seats and surrounding area should be wiped down and cleared of any loose items before you arrive.
