(GLEN COVE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D - Glen Cove) and County Executive Laura Curran toured downtown Glen Cove on Wednesday, Aug. 4 to inform local businesses about relief opportunities that can be accessed through the Boost Nassau Resource Center.
County Executive Curran and Legislator DeRiggi-Whitton, who serves as the Minority Caucus representative on the Executive’s COVID-19 Economic Advisory Council, visited local businesses, where they urged small business owners to secure their fair share of assistance through the Boost Nassau Recovery Center. The multi-lingual service compiles federal, state, county and town-level COVID-19 recovery assistance resources into a centralized website and brick-and-mortar resource center in Eisenhower Park.
“We were delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response to the Boost Nassau Resource Center - an all-encompassing one-stop shop where residents and entrepreneurs can easily access the assistance they deserve and are qualified for,” Legislator DeRiggi-Whitton said. “I look forward to continuing our efforts to bring this message directly to our communities.”
