Roadwork Set for June 12 on West Shore Road in Port Washington

(PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) is pleased to announce that the Nassau County Department of Public Works (DPW) has scheduled upcoming roadwork for portions of West Shore Road near Fairway Drive in Port Washington. 

 DPW is scheduled to perform the work, which entails milling and paving of patches starting on Wednesday, June 12. During the anticipated one-day duration, work will be performed during daytime hours using flagpeople and lane shifts.

 “Maintaining and improving our County roads is an essential component of our overall strategy for improving traffic safety across our district and throughout Nassau,” Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton said. “I remain committed to securing investments in our infrastructure that will improve our quality of life, and I thank everyone for their patience as these important upgrades are completed.”
