(ROSLYN HARBOR, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) is pleased to announce that work crews are scheduled to return to Glenwood Road to complete a drainage improvement project just to the north of the intersection with Bryant Avenue. Weather permitting, Nassau County Department of Public Works (DPW) officials confirmed that workers are scheduled to complete asphalt improvements and place topsoil and seed at the site starting on Wednesday, March 19.
“The completion of improvements on this important stretch of Glenwood Road marks an important step forward that will help keep the people of Roslyn Harbor safe, prevent flooding, and preserve our quality of life,” Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton said. “I am very glad that we are starting the spring by completing this important infrastructure project, and I thank everyone for their patience throughout this process.
