(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - Nearly 80 residents received COVID-19 antibody testing and cardiovascular screening during a Friday, July 10 pop-up clinic hosted by Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview), Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics and the Mid Island Y JCC.
Last week’s COVID-19 antibody testing clinic is the third that Legislator Drucker has hosted in partnership with Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics and community stakeholders. On June 4, Legislator Drucker partnered with the Mid Island Y JCC and Plainview Jewish Center to bring testing to the Plainview ShopRite, and he collaborated with the Sid Jacobson JCC to host a clinic in Greenvale on June 10. Thus far, nearly 300 residents have been tested for COVID-19 antibodies.
“Even during a tropical storm, 79 residents were tested, and we are committed to bringing more testing to the area soon,” Legislator Drucker said. “I am thankful for Dr. Perry Frankel’s continued partnership in bringing COVID-19 antibody testing to our communities and appreciate all of the Mid Island Y JCC’s efforts to make this clinic successful despite the inclement weather.”
