As part of National Blood Donor Month, County Executive Curran and Legislator Arnold W. Drucker are hosting a blood drive at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.
The blood drive will be held in the Ceremonial Chamber of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building, which is located on the second floor at 1550 Franklin Ave., Mineola, N.Y. 11501.
Donor Requirements:
- Bring your blood donor card or valid ID with photo or signature
- Age Requirements: 16–75 (16-year old need parental consent and 76 and older will need a doctor note)
- Minimum weight 110 lbs
- Eat well (low fat) & drink fluids before donating
- No tattoos for past 12 months
