Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) recently attended the Pajama Day celebration at Robbins Lane Elementary School in Syosset. The children were ecstatic after Legislator Jacobs read A Giraffe and a Half by Shel Silverstein. Pancakes were subsequently served, marking a perfect end to Pajama Day. “I always love reading to these young children. Their smiles truly brighten up my day. And if I had known, I would have worn my robe to join in the fun!” Jacobs said after the reading.
