(JERICHO, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined with his colleagues in local government and leaders in Nassau County law enforcement to celebrate the retirement of Nassau County Detectives Association (DAI) President Jeff Gross from the Nassau County Police Department after a 37-year career.
During the Thursday, Aug. 17 celebration at the Milleridge Inn in Jericho, Legislator Drucker presented Gross with a Nassau County Legislature Citation in honor of his service in law enforcement and his leadership at the helm of the DAI.
“For nearly four decades as a devoted and unwavering law enforcement professional, Jeff Gross dedicated his career to serving and protecting the public, and he was a staunch advocate for his fellow DAI members and all of his colleagues during his frequent appearances before the Legislature,” Legislator Drucker said. “I deeply appreciate the many ways in which his leadership has contributed toward making Nassau County PD one of the finest law enforcement agencies in America, and I wish him all the best as he enjoys his well-earned retirement with his family and loved ones.”
